Nouman Ali

Nouman Ali is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore. He obtained his Masters in Electrical Engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), NUST, and bachelors in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University, Lahore Campus with a Silver Medal.

Over the course of his academic and professional journey, Nouman has contributed to the design of smart meters, automatic line changeover systems, and low-cost residential power monitoring devices.

Umair Shoaib

Umair Shoaib obtrained his Masters in Computer Science from ITU and completed his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from LUMS. He has proficiency in teaching courses: Embedded Systems stream, Operating Systems and Digital Logic Design. His research interests include embedded systems, single-board computers and code optimization, with a focus on applying low-cost computing platforms for education and innovation.

Hamza Shaukat

Nadir Abbas

Mr. Nadir Abbas, our Teaching Fellow in Computer and Software Engineering, holds a Bachelor’s degree from University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, and a Master’s degree from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. His diverse experience includes roles such as Lab Engineer at ITU, Research Assistant at KICS, and Teaching Assistant at UET Lahore.

Hira Yaseen

Ms. Hira Yaseen is currently pursuing her PhD in Computer Science from Information Technology University (ITU). She received her Masters degree in the field of Computer Science from COMSATS University. Her research interests lie in the area of Self-Supervised Learning to get Better Low-Dimensional Representation of High-Dimensional Manifold Data and Building Cost-Effective Subspace Affinities for Clustering using Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.

Dr. Muhammad Asif

Dr. Muhammad Asif has completed his Postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He holds a Ph.D. from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), China, and a Master’s degree (MS) from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. Additionally, he has previous teaching experience at the National Textile University (NTU) in Faisalabad, Pakistan.

Dr. Usman Younis

Dr. Younis is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore, Pakistan. Previously, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan, and as a Research Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore.

He has authored papers in leading peer-reviewed journals and has presented in several international conferences. He is a member of the Institute of Physics, a Senior Member of IEEE, and is a registered engineer at the Pakistan Engineering Council.

He was conferred “Sanad-e-Imtiaz” by the President of Pakistan. He is a recipient of Rector’s Gold Medal for MS studies.
