Game Jam

The growth of the multi-billion dollar video game industry has pulled in Pakistan as a service provider for major international video-game studios. Though we’ve grown we’re still a young industry and are still experimenting with creating our own products. We’re inspired by global hits such as Clash of Clans and Flabby Bird but we have the potential to create something more meaningful. Though entertainment is a large part of what video games do they can also be designed for more ‘serious’ purposes.

The aim of this workshop is to kick-start product development by creating awareness about meaningful games that impact players’ beliefs, attitudes, emotions and physical and mental health. We’re going to share game design innovations and practices and inform participants on how to persuade players in more meaningful ways.

Over the 3 days of the workshop we will guide and mentor participants towards the creation of thought provoking games and prototypes that will be showcased to a large audience.

The designers and creative thinkers will be brought on the same platform to learn how to design games and showcase their talents.
