Representatives from the Hanns Seidel Foundation visit Information Technology University

Jacqueline Wilk and Kristof W. Duwaerts; Programme Coordinator and Resident Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS) visited ITU yesterday. Hanns Seidel Foundation is a non-partisan German political foundation working in Pakistan to promote federalism, governance and social responsibility while also focusing on strengthening regional understanding in South Asia. Targeting elites, political multipliers, scientists and students and youth in Pakistan, HSS conducts seminars, workshops, conferences, and training sessions to inculcate a greater sense of social, political and environmental responsibility among citizens. Ms. Wilk and Mr. Duwaerts were given an extensive tour of ITU, Plan9 and iPal, and they took great interest in ITU’s use of technology for social development and improved governance.
