ITU’s ORIENTATION SESSIONS FOR NEW ENTRANTS FROM TOMORROW

The Information Technology University (ITU) is holding orientation week for the successful candidates for admission in BS Computer Science, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Management Technology, MS Computer Science, MS Electrical Engineering, MS Development Studies, Executive MBA (EMBITE), PhD Computer Science and PhD Electrical Engineering from August 26 to 29, 2017 for the next session at Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore.

The program with date and timings announced by the ITU are: BS Computer Science and BS Electrical Engineering on Saturday August 26, 2017 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm, MS Computer Science, MS Data Science and MS Electrical Engineering on Monday August 28, 2017 from 6 pm to 7 pm, MS Development Studies on Tuesday August 29, 2017 from 6 pm to 7 pm and BS Management and Technology Wednesday August 30, 2017 from 5 pm to 6 pm.

The orientation sessions will give an opportunity to the new entrants for an introduction to the faculties, student rules and regulations, degree road maps, specialization tracks and the facilities for the students.

Information Technology University (ITU) Punjab also offers generous merit and need based scholarships and provides undergraduates and graduates scholarships. ITU is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

According to a contract signed between Information Technology University (ITU) Punjab and Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) to construct State of the Art purpose built main Campus for Pakistan’s first focused research Information Technology University Punjab, the IDAP has been assigned in the phase –I to construct State of the art purpose built campus of ITU on 182 acres near Lahore airport at estimated cost of Rupees five billions in a period of 12 to 18 months. The Phase-1 would consist of construction of Academic block, library, hostels, sports complex and faculty apartments while the facilities would cater the needs of 4000 students and 500 faculty members. ITU being Pakistan’s first focused Research University will have 150 modern labs in phase-1.
