ITU launches Registration Drive for MITEFP Entrepreneurship Workshop
Information Technology University (ITU) the Punjab in collaboration with MIT Enterprise Forum Pakistan (MITEFP) has launched the registration drive for a full day workshop titled; “Essentials of Entrepreneurship” slated to take place on Saturday 14thApril 2018 at ITU, Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore. Interested participants can register for event via online form. The last date to apply is 10thApril 2018.
The workshop aims to provide founders, entrepreneurs and innovators with an interactive learning environment that would help them in different aspects of entrepreneurship. At the end of the intensive hands-on workshop, participants would be able to develop perfect business plans, learn indispensable skills required for pitching, and acquire inside tricks of trade to get their projects financed.
The workshop will be conducted by Shahid Mir, an established entrepreneur and has pioneered major IT initiatives in Pakistan over the last 35 years. He ran Pakistan’s largest software and services export company called Systems Research as its Founding Chairman and CEO. Along with being a tech entrepreneur, Mir has also been a professional IT consultant. Presently, he is consulting with Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has a vast work experience in the Middle East and Africa, and has consulted for World Bank and USAID in the past.
MIT Enterprise Forum Pakistan (MITEFP) is one of the 28 worldwide chapters of MITEF that aims engage stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem through innovation and technology. MITEFP is dedicated towards stimulation of growth of Pakistani entrepreneurs, start-ups and businesses.
