Biography

Dr. Aqeel Rehman completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. He also earned his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NUST and his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore.
In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious TRIL Fellowship at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy. He contributed as a Research Fellow to the NCRA-funded project at EME College, NUST, in collaboration with the Military Equipment Group (MEG), and also worked on the HEC-funded SRGP project in the High Voltage Laboratory at NUST. In recognition of his academic and research contributions, he received the NUST High Achiever Award in Electrical Engineering (2025).
