Information Technology University (ITU) is delighted to share that Dr. M. Adnan Siddique, Head of the Remote Sensing and Spatial Analytics Lab, has been appointed as the Chair of the IEEE GRSS Remote Sensing Environment, Analysis and Climate Technologies (REACT) Technical Committee for a two-year tenure.
Dr. Siddique’s journey with REACT began three years ago as a volunteer, and today he leads this prestigious global committee, a testament to his consistent dedication and impactful contributions in the field of remote sensing and climate technologies.
This milestone is not only a personal achievement for Dr. Siddique but also a proud moment for ITU and the Faculty of Science (FoS), as a Pakistan-based scientist assumes a leadership position in an international technical forum — a distinction achieved by very few in the country.
ITU extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Siddique on this remarkable accomplishment and wishes him continued success in advancing global scientific collaboration and innovation.
