A guest lecture was organized by the Faculty of Computer Sciences, ITU, earlier last week on the topic of “Business Communication for Tech Students” by Jazib Zahir.
Mr. Jazib Zahir is the Director of the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship and the LUMSx Online Learning Center. He has pioneered and taught several courses at LUMS, including Business Communication, Education Entrepreneurship, and AI and the Future of Work and Education.
He brings over 15 years of professional experience, having served as the Chief Operations Officer of a software house and worked on projects for clients such as Sesame Workshop and the BBC. His diverse background also includes experience in telecommunications, renewable energy, career counselling, and consulting for foundations investing in edtech and AI, including the Gates Foundation.
Mr. Jazib holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard University.
