Launching Ceremony of ‘Public Sector Reforms in Pakistan: Hierarchies, Markets and Networks’ Book by the Department of Governance and Global Studies
The Department of Governance and Global Studies at Information Technology University is pleased to invite you to the book launch event to be held at ITU, Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore on 30th August, Tuesday from 5-7PM (PKST).
The book ‘Public Sector Reforms in Pakistan: Hierarchies, Markets and Networks’ has been published by Palgrave Macmillan and is already out in the market. It is a volume edited by Dr. Abiha Zahra, Professor Geert Bouckaert (KU Leuven, Belgium), Professor Zafar Iqbal Jadoon and Professor Nasira Jabeen (Institute of Administrative Sciences, University of the Punjab).
The book is a joint project of Belgium and Pakistan- drawing on an overarching analytical framework, the chapters in the edited volume analyse long-term trends from a macro-level perspective as well as reform trajectories in vital policy sectors including health, energy, higher education among others. This book is the first of its kind, bringing together a young and vibrant research community of public management scholars.
