Ms. Hajra Waheed (PHDCS17005), from the Department of Computer Science, at the Information Technology University of the Punjab, is set to defend her thesis.

The public Ph.D. defense will be held at Auditorium, 6th Floor, Information Technology University (ITU) of the Punjab, Arfa Software Technology Park, 346-B, Ferozepur Road, Lahore on Friday January 21, 2022 at 03:00 pm.

The title of Hajra’s Ph.D. thesis is “Using Deep Learning in the Early Prediction of At-Risk Learners in Self-Paced Online Education”. Her thesis supervisor is Dr. Saeed Ul Hassan, Chairperson, Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science (ITU) and co-supervised by Dr. Naif Radi Aljohani (King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia).

For smooth entry into Information Technology University (ITU) of the Punjab, Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore, prior registration is required to attend the public PhD defense. Registrations will be closed on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
