“Information Technology University has received a land grant of 184 acres on main Barki road, near Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. The Government of Punjab has further granted the go head for the development scheme of five (05) Billion rupees for the establishment of the main campus of the university. Out of these five (05) Billion rupees, two (02) Billion rupees have been allocated for the financial year 2016-2017 to kick-start the development work.

With the vision of Dr. Umar Saif, the purpose-built state of the art campus aims to be the best facility in Pakistan to nurture research culture in academia and industry. The campus will accommodate 15,000 students and 2,000 members of faculty and research staff.

The campus will have four state of the art Multi-story Academic Blocks comprising of Lecture Theaters, Laboratories, Research Centers, Discussion Rooms, Reading rooms, Faculty rooms, and Auditoriums. In addition to the academic blocks there will be on campus housing for faculty and students, Learning Resource Center, Student Center, Career placement Office, Executive Development Center, Shopping Area, Food Courts, Medical Center, Sports Complex, Cricket Stadium, Football / Hockey Ground, Squash Court, boardrooms for other indoor games and many more facilities. This purpose build campus will provide the best environment in town for students and faculty.”
