Problem Based Learning: A Way to Address Pakistan’s Current Challenges

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at ITU organized a webinar titled “Problem Based Learning: A Way to Address Pakistan’s Current Challenges” (Today) on June 28, 2024 (2:00pm to 3:00pm), as a part of its Faculty Development Program series. Problem Based Learning (PBL) represents a student-centric educational approach wherein learners acquire knowledge and competencies through tackling real-world issues. Unlike traditional lecture-driven methodologies, PBL cultivates problem-solving abilities among students while promoting deeper understanding and knowledge. Given Pakistan’s contemporary challenges, universities, as the think tanks of the country, bear a responsibility to address and propose viable solutions to these issues. The webinar aimed to equip participants with the capability to critically analyze the principles of PBL and apply them adeptly to address societal problems.
