International Political Economy, Economic Development, Global Governance in Development, Value Chain Analysis
Amna Anwar is a Masters graduate in Globalisation and Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex. She graduated with BSc. Honors with a major in Political Science. Before ITU, she resided in Malaysia where she was worked for UNHCR project for Somalian refugees living in Malaysia. She also worked as a visiting faculty member at Lahore School of Economics where she taught the course “International Political Economy”.
Her current research has been centered around global governance of food systems through a value chain analysis. Her two recent publications are titled; “Global Governance: the new wave of Global Food Security”, and Value Chain Interventions: A blessing or a curse?” in the International journal of Education and Management.
