Design for Scale Expo
ITU research lab IPAL- Innovations for Poverty Alleviation Lab is organizing the Design for Scale Expo on Saturday, 25th of July, 2015. The expo’s key objective is to showcase the innovative products developed by this year’s Design for Scale students. Design for Scale is a unique course offered at Information Technology University (ITU) that aims to equip students with the skill and theory required to use design to create products which could offer effective solutions to developing world problems.
The expo will be held at ITU and would be attended by students, academics and industry professionals. Students will present their projects in detail and look forward to receive encouragement, critique and suggestions from a panel of judges. The judges include faculty from the country’s top universities, such as Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and leading industry professionals from organizations like World Bank.
