Workshop on Designing Interactive Learning Application Commences at ITU

A week-long workshop on Designing Interactive Learning Applications commenced at Information Technology University (ITU) on Monday. This intensive and multidisciplinary workshop puts together pedagogy, technology, multimedia, innovation, entrepreneurship, art, drama and story-telling to give participants hands-on experience of designing learning application. The focus of the workshop is the idea that technology can be used in creative ways to enhance pedagogy by creating exciting and more rewarding learning techniques.

ITU registrar Mr. Zaheer Sarwar said, “This workshop is an interactive and intensive experience, and it comes at a very right time, even in terms of potential employment, as the global market for interactive learning applications now exceed USD 70 billion.”

This workshop is being facilitated by Dr. Yasira Waqar, who has a PhD in Instructional Technology from Columbia University, and Dr. Ashraf Iqbal, who holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
